SSI Diamond Dive Centre · TDI Centre · DAN Insured · PDSA Founding Member · 40+ Years of Diving

Dive Systems is the largest and one of the longest established dive centres in Malta, sitting right on the water's edge at Exiles Bay in Sliema. Now an SSI Diamond Dive Centre, it has been at the forefront of Maltese diving for more than 40 years. A wreck has even been scuttled just outside the centre, so shore diving is available straight from the door and the centre's own boat, Simo, opens up sites around Malta, Gozo and Comino.

Beyond the Shore

Boat Diving

Beyond the Shore

Some of Malta's most memorable dive sites aren't accessible from the shoreline. Dive Systems' purpose-built 38-foot boat Simo carries divers out to wrecks, reefs and sites around Malta, Gozo and Comino, opening up a much wider range of diving than Sliema alone. Simo is licensed for Malta's historic wrecks, including Le Polynesien, HMS Southwold and the Schnellboot.

Who We Are

About Dive Systems Malta

Dive Systems has been at the forefront of diving in Malta for more than 40 years, with a mix of fun, safety and excellent diving. The centre is a founding member of the Malta Professional Diving School Association (PDSA) and is proud to be the largest dive centre on the islands.

As an SSI Diamond Dive Centre and a TDI centre since 2018 Dive Systems offers the full range of training from first try dives through to technical and professional level courses. The team is young and energetic, with instructors who speak several languages, and everyone at the centre speaks English.

Dive Systems is also committed to protecting the marine environment. In cooperation with the NGO Zibel, the team organises regular clean up events around Malta, avoids plastic where possible and offers aluminium water bottles that clients can refill as often as they like.

What Makes It Special

Why Dive Systems Malta?

What sets Dive Systems apart is scale and experience without losing the personal touch. As the largest dive centre in Malta, it has the facilities, equipment and team to look after small and large groups but guided groups are kept small so dives are matched properly to experience. A wreck sits just outside the door, the centre's own boat reaches the rest of the islands, and a genuine environmental commitment runs through everything from clean up events to refillable aluminium bottles.
