Local Tip

Watch the glass-blowing demonstration at the Gozo Glass workshop — you can see molten glass being shaped into decorative pieces right in front of you.

Ta' DbieÄ”i Crafts Village is a small complex of artisan workshops at the foot of Ta' DbieÄ”i hill, near the village of Għarb on Gozo's west coast. The village brings together several of Gozo's traditional crafts under one roof — most notably glass-blowing at the Gozo Glass workshop, where visitors can watch artisans shape molten glass into decorative vases, bowls and figurines.

Other workshops produce hand-thrown pottery, Maltese lace, silver filigree and leather goods. The village is open daily and there is no entrance fee — visitors simply walk between the workshops, watch the craftspeople at work and buy directly. It is a good stop on a tour of western Gozo, close to the Dwejra area and Ta' Pinu Sanctuary.
