Gran Castello Historic House

The Gran Castello Historic House (also known as the Folklore Museum) is a museum within the Cittadella in Victoria, Gozo, managed by Heritage Malta. It is housed in a cluster of interconnected historic buildings within the citadel, some dating to the 15th century, and displays aspects of Gozitan domestic and rural life over the centuries.

The museum's rooms are furnished to show traditional Gozitan living spaces, kitchens, bedrooms and workshops, with displays of traditional costumes, lace, agricultural tools, and domestic utensils. The interconnected buildings and courtyards are themselves part of the exhibit, showing how Gozitan families lived within the crowded walls of the citadel.
