Ta' Ħaġrat is a prehistoric megalithic temple site in the village of Mġarr, in the north of Malta, dating to the Ġgantija phase (around 3600–3200 BC). It is one of the oldest free-standing temple sites in the world and part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing of the Megalithic Temples of Malta. The site contains two adjacent temple structures — a larger south temple with a well-preserved monumental doorway and a smaller, earlier north temple.
Ta' Ħaġrat is notable for its well-preserved facade and entrance, which gives a clear sense of how these temples would have appeared when in use. The site is smaller and less visited than the major temple complexes at Ħaġar Qim and Ġgantija, and access is by appointment or scheduled open days — check the Heritage Malta website before visiting.
