The Chinese Garden of Serenity (Ġnien is-Serenità Ċiniża) is a public garden in Santa Lucija, in the south of Malta, designed in the classical Chinese garden style and gifted to Malta by the People's Republic of China in 1997. The garden features a central lake crossed by curved stone bridges, pagoda-style pavilions, bamboo plantings, carved stone panels and traditional Chinese architectural elements.
It is one of Malta's most unusual public spaces — a quiet, contemplative garden that feels worlds away from the surrounding residential streets. The garden is free to enter and is popular with local residents for morning exercise and evening strolls.
