About the gallery
The Victor Passmore Gallery — known to visitors as the VP Gallery — is a Valletta exhibition space dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Its rooms allow dense, tactile objects room to breathe, and its programme pairs major survey exhibitions with archival material and community collaboration.
The gallery works in partnership with Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti and lending institutions including HSBC Malta and the University of Malta Valletta Campus, situating individual works within a wider artistic and social history. Exhibitions are often supported by soundscapes and multi-sensory installations that complement the visual experience without overwhelming it.
